gotta love technology!
this is my fourth attempt to upload something. we're not doing so great on being able to access a wireless network here (my mom doesn't have internet). So we're sitting in the car in the drive of my brother's house, hooking into his wireless network!!Well, our journey went well. Started out at Cardiff train station as you can see here. The flight went smoothly and kids did well...except Dylan getting sick during the landing. All our seatmates were friendly and handing over extra sick bags to us!!
On Sunday we went to church. Ran into some old friends...well, not old...but friends from years ago!!! Charlotte, in the middle, lives in Germany and we hadn't seen her for years. Randi on the right has visited us numerous times in Wales, and it is so good to see her again.
Being in Lancaster County again means seeing lots of Amish and Mennonites in their horses and buggies, and on bikes. Here's one Mennonite buggy we followed home from church. (Mennonite buggies are black and Amish ones are grey.)Lots of news about the Tour de France in local papers too, since the winner Floyd Landis is from Farmersville, PA, only 15-20 minutes from my Mom's house. So local boy who did well...and all that. We're still dealing with jet lag, so enough for now. Hopefully we'll master this technology thing and be able to post more photos before too long!
