Our Christmas Tree

The first Saturday of December, we drove to the Christmas tree farm in Llanwonno to choose a tree. It's always muddy and messy, so we wore wellies and boots.


All the trees are cut and ready for browsing. Most are shipped in; some are cut local. Alan picked up the first tree he came to and held it up. It looked good...but all women know you can't choose the first tree you look at!!



So, after holding up 4-5 more trees, I finally settled on....you guessed it!....the first tree we looked at!


Arriving home. It looks tiny on top of our car, but it is a 6 ft tree.


It was too chaotic to take pictures during the decorating, so here's the final product. It has a few more handmade decorations since this picture, which the kids made in school or club.
