Bollinger Day

This year we were able to participate in Bollinger Day, which has become an annual tradition in my family. With six kids (i'm the youngest) and 24 grandchildren and almost a dozen great grandchildren, it's hard to all get together as a family. So we set aside one day (some years its an entire weekend away) to spend together. Saturday we went to my brother's house for the day. It was hot and muggy, and most of us sat under a tree all day. But some people ventured out to do other things, like ride the petrol powered go cart! Notice that although Brenin wanted a ride, he didn't like the noise!

My 15-yr-old nephew Nate took some of us on a lazy wagon ride. It was quite luxurious, as we had mattresses on the wagon to sit on!
Dylan loved the go-cart and spent half the day on it. He even took Grandma for a ride.
To cool off, some rode on the paddle boat in the pond and got as close as they could to the fountain in the center. About 40 of us were there, some staying all day...some just for lunch...others for the evening. It was a great way to reconnect with family. More pics another day! Posted by Picasa
