History Day

Some people would find this very morbid...but we spent some time Saturday afternoon visiting cemetaries! Over the past two years, I've been trying to trace the Wert family geneology. So a trip to Alleghenyville included visiting the gravesites of two of Alan's great-uncles who served in World War 2.
Alan's parents went with us, and then we spent time at their house in the town of Terre Hill, enjoying the shade of the big tree beside their porch.
I even took a spin on my father-in-law's three wheel bike! A lot of OAPs (senior citizens) around here ride these three-wheeled contraptions! I found it quite scary to go around corners, as i'm used to leaning over on a normal two-wheel bike. Guess i won't be buying one of these any time soon!
