what is hidden will be revealed!

When we got the house, this is what the landing at the top of the stairs looked like. But we wondered if perhaps the original spindles might be hiding underneath the 1970s plywood and wallpaper. So...



Alan carefully pulled a piece of the hardboard away...and sure enough...look what we found hiding inside!


This is the final effect. It makes the landing feel so much more spacious and open.
