Daerwynno work day

Alan spent Saturday in the rain volunteering at Daerwynno, the nearby outdoor centre. He and a dozen or so volunteers moved mud from one location to another! A pond has just been built near the centre, so they were leveling the ground around the pond and then planting grass seed. It's not a great quality photo, but Alan is second from right, wearing the red waterproofs. His arms and back were sore that night, but he thoroughly enjoyed being in the outdoors again and the interaction with the other volunteers.
