Cerys's Birthday

Cerys celebrated her birthday in February...six already. She was so excited to find a pink bike under a tarp in the kitchen when she awoke. Up to this point, she's been riding a hand-me-down bike from Dylan...boys black and white...that she long outgrew. Of course, the only thing she really noticed and cared about was the Barbie basket and tassels on the handle bars. Girls!!

She's in to Dora the Explorer at the moment, so we had a Dora theme party. She had a helium filled balloon that was bigger than her.

A friend of ours made two pinatas and filled them with sweets. The kids had a blast having a go at hitting it. The pinatas were too strong though, and we finally mutilated them with a scissors so that they'd FINALLY break open! Here Brenin has a go...

I also painted Dora's friend, Boots the monkey, and the kids had a go at Pin the Tail on Boots. It was good fun watching them get dizzy after I spun them around several times and they staggered towards the wall. It was great fun, with 10 kids. Parties always tire me out, though, and I was glad when everyone finally headed home!
