Tradition

One tradition around Christmas time is to bake cookies and make chocolate covered pretzels to give to neighbours and friends. This year we made up about 15 plates...fewer than other years. I hope some people weren't disappointed in NOT receiving any, but I felt the need to scale down this year and not do something just because we've always done it that way. Traditions can be a wonderful thing, you know. But if they rule your life, they can be cumbersome and downright wrong!
