Christmas Cookies

On the first Friday or Saturday of December each year for many years, my family has been baking Christmas cookies together. Since we've lived in Wales, Mom has been eating Pringles during the year and saving the cans to mail cookies to us after the big cookie bake. (I think she just needs an excuse for eating lots of Pringles!!) This year's cookies arrived in one week, and were completely eaten by the following week! In the first photo, the children are smiling over two plates full of cookies that arrived safely from the states. In the second one, they are giving their best frowns over the plate of sandtarts that didn't survive the journey so well. In fact, they never do. But we still like to scoop the thousands of broken pieces onto ice cream and eat them anyway!
