New Year's firsts

I know it's not a great photo, but here the children are bringing in the new year with our friend Steph by blowing bubbles. About 12 of us gathered at a friend's house on New Year's Eve. Our children were the only kids. It was the first in many years that we've gone out on New Year's Eve. (those of you with children know exactly why!) We thought we'd eat Indian and Chinese food, play some games, and probably leave around 9:oo, once the kids starting getting tired. But they did really well...so we ended up staying to see in 2007. I'm sure the amount of chocolate they ate helped them!
