Planting Seeds

One week ago the children had a day off school. Cerys had a friend over to play. And during the day, I had the children plants seeds in yogurt pots. We planted courgette seeds, or zucchini as it's called in the states.

We are really excited because this year, for the first since we've lived in Wales, we are going to have an allotment, or a vegetable garden. An elderly woman in the village is letting us use hers for this year. So, we decided to get a head start on things since we haven't actually seen the plot yet and don't know how large it is, or how much work it will take to get it ready for planting.
