More from Austria

During our retreat in Austria in late Oct/ early Nov, we had the chance to hike Krimmel waterfalls. We hadn't been there since Brenin was born. Fortunately, there had been lots of rain and snow before we arrived, so the falls were beautiful.

A bit of leftover frozen icy snow provided Dylan and his friends with lots of fun. Cerys got hit in the face, though, and that hurt!

Part of the way up, we took a little break and had some lunch.

And further along, where loads of rocks line the river, we stopped to rest and talk. We never made it the whole way up because little legs couldn't have survived the walk. As it was, Brenin had bronchial pneumonia and had to be carried most of the way.

Despite his illness, he was still all smiles at the end of the hike when he found this lovely wood carving!
