Everyone's Birthday!

Although Grandma has visited Wales several times, she's not usually around for everyone's birthday. So she got the wild and crazy idea to celebrate all the kids' birthdays one day last week! She bought an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen and had it decorated with the kids' names. Since it's Grandma's birthday in September, we added a candle to the cake for her too! Blowing out the candles...



and cutting the yummy cake. By the time we were done, it looked a mess, because Grandma let each person have whatever piece of the cake they wanted...no matter where it was.


Everyone got presents too! Grandma got a book with 1001 uses for Vinegar since she's the vinegar lady. Cerys got a Gabriella doll, Dylan a new football, and Brenin cars from Cars.


These two pics are totally unrelated to the birthday party...but we've been eating so much good food that we've had to find ways to work it off. After a meal at my sister Marla's house, I gave her hula hoop a go! It's a weighted hoop...about 4 pounds i think, and is much easier to keep up than a kids' hoop, once you get it going.


Working off the ham loaf, potatoes, ice cream dessert and other good food we had!! I want one of these hoops!! Wonder if i can pack it in my suitcase?!
