A visitor!

We love having visitors (HINT, HINT!! if you've ever thought of visiting the UK. If we don't have room to host you, we have friends who might, or a lovely B&B in the village.) Last month we enjoyed having Barry Freed with us. Barry is an EMM colleague in Lithuania. He's enjoyed traveling to several missionaries in Europe and finally got the chance to visit us before completing five years and heading back to the states.

Although he'd met our kids several times at the EMM retreats in Austria, he soon discovered how energetic and affectionate they are. And when to say yes and no to their requests!



We introduced Barry to some of our friends and enjoyed a great evening together eating loads of food and playing poker for chocolate bar prizes!



Visiting family and friends always make us stand in front of our house for the obligatory photo! If you've ever visited us, you surely have one in your photo album!



One final photo before driving Barry back to Bristol airport. It was a great weekend, even if we had to walk on cement floors and the little bit of carpet that remained smelled like a dirty sock! The stuff that memories are made of, huh?!
