Baby Shower

We hosted a surprise baby shower for our friends Alicia and Terry last Saturday. It was so much fun! Welsh people don't do baby showers, but Alicia is from South Africa where they have showers and of course i'm from America where we do showers, and Carys loves the idea of showers and lots of gifts, so we decided to go for it!

Here's the moment when Alicia walked in the door! She was so surprised!



We had some games while we waited for them to come...guess how many smarties in the baby bottle, name the baby's mammy, and baby name boggle. Carys and i started cooking at 10am and finished by 3pm, just before everyone started arriving. We had sandwiches and cakes...unfortunately the cakes are hidden at the far end behind the huge bunch of flowers.
